When Tim, Sr. started his automotive career in the early '70s, he noticed a bad habit of the auto repair industry: ignoring the needs of its customers and only focusing on the cars. Customers would only leave frustrated because they had little understanding of the repairs needed and were confused about what they were paying for. This was an "AHA" moment for Tim. With dreams of opening his own shop, he realized a way he could be different from others. If he demystified the process by providing the customer with an easy-to-understand snapshot of their vehicles' condition, he would then develop an informed customer base, who could feel comfortable and confident when making decisions about their car.
Tim also knew he would need an exceptionally skilled team - committed to service excellence, armed with cutting edge tools and invested in continuing education to stay up-to-date with the automotive industry.
Tim and his wife Maryanne's dreams would soon be fulfilled when they opened Tim's Quality Car Care in the summer of 1975. Now, over 40 years later, his sons Tim Jr. and Nick continue to set Tim's apart by giving customers an experience unlike any other shop - the Tim's Difference.
